Shirley Oliver Connors

Happily married for over 40 years. Thoroughly enjoyed teaching occupation. We have travelled to all 50 states and other parts of the world. We have attended 4 Olympic Games. Presently travel visiting family and officiating track & field meets of all levels. We have been foster parents to many kittens and enjoy volunteering at the Humane Society and golf tournaments. Our family has expanded to include 2 more boys, who are a part of our oldest sons new family. We have 4 grandchildren and 2 step-grandchildren.

GRADUATED FROM CASTILLEJA IN 1959, after attending high school in DARIEN, Conn. Attended UCSB for five years before receiving a teaching credential. Proceeded to get a Masters in Kinesiology during the early years of our marriage and raising our three boys. I taught in the same district for 25 years. Teaching physical education and last 10 years educating 5th graders. What a treat! Recently, I have worked with the same district to maintain physical education in the elementary schools -so important. I thoroughly enjoy working with, TLCing, and caring for animals at the local Humane Society. Alot of sharing and caring goes on, while volunteering weekly!
